A First Consultation

This will be your first opportunity to find out about the design consultation process. I will give you all the necessary information and assess a realistic costing for the overall design. If you are happy with the outcomes of the consultation and wish to proceed further, I will measure up your garden and arrange with you the timing of the next meeting, where I will present the first drawings.

Presentations of First Drawings

Following on from your first consultation, we will meet up to view my first drawings and ascertain what the overall design might be. That means we will connect the costing of design with the eventual landscaping and planting. Having agreed on the complexity of design required, I will then draw up a provisional plan. At this stage I will submit a quotation for the cost of my design fees and we will decide at this juncture, whether it is necessary to present a further provisional plan or move directly to the Masterplan.

Provisional Plan

I will now present an enlarged working drawing. This will have more precise information about the overall plan, planting and materials required. Amendments can be made to the design ready for the Masterplan.

Masterplan Design

The Masterplan is the finished design. I will also include specifications, plans, showing the physical outline and planting layout, in addition to the possibility of further diagrams and illustrations. When the finished design is delivered and you are pleased with the product, the payment is now due and plans will be made to anticipate future landscaping and planting.
